Ellie Goulding - Burn:
- Costumes: There was two costume changes through the whole video, the clothes were casual which fits into a pop music video as they tend not to be dressed up and would normally wear everyday clothing.
- Locations: The video was based in 3 locations. A field (day and night), a plane runway (day and night) and a forest (day). I found that the locations doesn't really link to the song but it allowed them to use certain props that does link to the lyrics.
- Props: They used light balls and fireworks/sparklers which linked to the lyrics because the song is about lights, burning and fire. For example "We ganna let it burn" and "Light it up"
Rita Ora - How we do:
- Costumes: There were 6 costumes changes that were revealing, colourful and wild. This is usually associated with an R'n'B music video. The costume changes are mapped out below on the timeline created on timetoast.
- Location: The different locations were rooms that were decorated differently. One was a plain white background, one was painted with glow in the dark paint and another had a bed in the middle. There wasn't any specific location they were just rooms that were randomly decorated.
- Props: Paint, light-saver, masks, balloons, glow in the dark costumes, manikins, bike, large sunglasses and plastic cups (to represent alcohol). The props show a party life which links to R'n'B music videos because it's random but when placed together it seems as if it was a wild party.
