Digipak pictures - slideshow
Above is a small collection of some of the pictures we took for our Digipak. I had the artist pose sideways with her hands in front her her face pointing upwards so that it looks like she is blowing out of her hand. This is so that when I create my Digipak I can edit in the gold dots the way I have drawn in my mock ups. We had two different outfit ideas and therefore decided to take pictures on two separate days so that the artist was able to wear both. We had to retake some photos because of the lighting and flash on the camera. We took pictures against a black curtain which sometimes turned out blue on camera so we tried using a different camera which worked better.
These are the pictures I decided to use in the end. I wanted to use the pictures where the artist was wearing a plain white jumper because it wouldn't distract away from anything that I edit on. I picked the picture where the artist is facing straight on and it is a medium shot. This is because in my mock up I drew the artist with her shoulders in shot as I needed this area to write her name and the album name.
The second picture I chose had to match her outfit. I chose this one because her had was position at the right angle whereas in the other pictures her hand was flat at a 90 degree angle which would be harder to edit with.
