Final Digipak

Below are pictures of my final Digipak and advertisement. I made some changes from my mock up while constructing them on photoshop. I kept the overall design the same but made a few minor adjustments to make it look better.

Outside:

To the outside I changed the colour of the artists name because I originally had it in white which wasn't visible against her cream jumper. I changed it to the same colour as the album name which I think works well because it makes the front blend together, rather than having the dots and the album name the same colour and the artist name a separate colour. I made a side note on my mock up that I would place the track list in size order but when it came to arranging them I found that it looked unnatural to have them in the shape of a pyramid so I kept it the way it was originally written in my mock up. Once a completed a first draft I received feedback from my teacher informing me to add in the copyright text (found at the bottom of the back) and the serial number.

Inside:

To the inside I also changed the text so that it matched with the outside instead of having it white. I decided against smudging the text because it looked messy and I wanted to keep the text sharp as there is already a lot going on with the background. I also changed the placements of the dots. I wanted the dots to only boarder the artists name and create a line under the album name but when I started to do this I found it looked peculiar and empty. So I made the decision to have the dots cover the entire CD, that way I was able to fill up the gap whilst still incorporating the synergy of lights.

 Advertisement:

I didn't change too much with the advertisement because I was happy with my mock up and the way it turned out on screen. All I did was add in the record company's logo and changed the positioning and name of the company that gave a quote.
