My strengths and weaknesses of using Photoshop Elements

Although in the AS year we did not use Photoshop Elements as part of our coursework, i still have a very good understanding of this software from my media GCSE. I previously have created a front and back cover of a CD cover and also created a poster for promotional use, similar to this preject. I also created a website page using photoshop which means i am very familiar with the software. I am able to create and edit my work with ease and i am also able to use the tools available in the software easily.

However, considering that the only pictures that we can use are the pictures we have taken makes it a little harder for me to create a very good product. The instructions that we have to make our products are strict and making sure that each aspect (images, font, colour) of my CD cover is correct means that time and effort must be put in. I am confident about making these ancillary poducts due to the fact that my whole idea is to keep it rather simple. However, some of my ideas will take practice and hopefully they turn out well.
